License & Car Registration Information
FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAY SAFETY & MOTOR VEHICLES
One of the first challenges to meet when released from prison is
transportation. Driver
license and car registration procedures are spelled out at the
DMV website (also in Spanish). You can order a copy of your driving
record, renew a license, and replace lost cards.
Driver
license handbooks (in English and Spanish, including the
CDL handbooks for truck drivers) are available online, or you can order
your own copy.

Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Assistance
Numerous websites provide information about and links to programs

here. A good place to start is seaching the annotated list with links
at U.S. Drug Rehab Centers.

challenge. Arm yourself with information such as population
demographics, social services, job markets, cost of rent, and much
more. For in-depth statistical information on Florida communities,
explore ePodunk.
If you're uncertain which Florida cities are in which counties, do a
quick search through NACO (National Association of Counties). Or check
the tidy list at Florida Counties.
Local ordinances of many Florida communities are available online (some
